Calling iPhone 4 Owners Who Work on the Move have you considered a Wireless Keyboard

Why You Need an Apple Wireless Keyboard !!!!
I am the proud owner of an iPhone 4 and NOW ACTUALLY use it to be productive on the go
When I travelled for work in the past usually my weapon of choice for working on the move was an iPad – in essence because of its lightweight ,its portability and ease-of-use. I never considered fully like many I guess that my iPhone 4 could also be productive for textual work on the move with the right gear.
On a recent short trip to London- shock horror I discovered I forgot my beloved iPad and I knew I would have some fairly intense text work to do following a meeting. I had my iPhone 4 with me and the hotel had free wifi but The Thought of attempting to use my iPhone 4 for “intense” data entry was enough to consider jumping into the Thames.
The solution was in fact rather simple-after googling on my iPhone 4 – I ran to the nearest computer store and purchased an Apple Wireless Keyboard. Ten minutes later- simple setup – both devices paired -I was a happy bunny indeed after my Discovery !!!
Seriously if you use an iPhone4 (or for many others who dislike the iPads built in touch keyboard indeed) and you want to be able to type longish notes or emails, etc.on the move then this is definitely the device for you. Whilst there is no keypad, I really don’t miss that very much.
First impressions out of the box - I was amazed at just how light this product was – a mere 1 pound- and especially since I was looking at using it primarily on the go and on travels. I can now attest to the fact that it really is great to travel with at home or abroad. Despite its light weight, it feels incredibly sturdy and solidly built
Another benefit is – this is a bluetooth keyboard, and you can use it anywhere–with other computers, your Ipad etc
For Working on the Go- Set up is simple – You just go to Settings on the phone – select General- select Bluetooth and turn it on – turn the keyboard on – the keyboard is found and you pair the two by entering on the keyboard a number presented and - Voila – You are Ready. I simply go to the Notes App on the phone and type away. I had thought it would be difficult to read what I typed but in fact the typed text shows up remarkably clearly on the yellow background of Notes once you Prop up the phone for visibility
In Summary Folks this wireless keyboard is Perfect along with your Iphone 4 for creating text, email, or posting comments even!!! On the Go and Remaining Productive !!!

Hi Rosemary,
I hope this isn’ a duplicate comment as I lost the first one. Thanks for this handy tip. I have both the iPhone and the wireless keyboard (and everything else Mac that I fall in love with). I connected them immediately – this will come in so useful. I couldn’t understand why I no longer could type on my computer, then realised it’s one or the other, the keyboard will only accept one master at a time. I’m going to enjoy your posts in future and will share them via TribePro. Thanks Julia (Australia)

Due to living in Ireland I go to the UK to seminars etc often and it is great to be able to keep you work up to date while one travels. May I take this opportunity to thank you for following me on twitter and like wise I am looking forward to your updates. All the best for the rest of the weekend.

Hi Rosemary,
My wife is an apple fan and has all their latest gismos.
I must say some of the apple accessories are excelent.
The IPhone is such a versitile tool… now with the use of the keyboard maybe I will use it too…(will have to get my own as I am not allowed to use my wife’s):-)
Great post thanks for the info.
Cheers
Bryan

Hi Rosemary, that’s fabulous about the keyboard, I didn’t know you could do that. It’s the main reason I don’t like mobile devices, those little keys are so difficult compared to an ordinary keyboard. I purchased a little Dell mini-notebook for an overseas plane flight a few years ago. I really love it, and not sure about getting an iPad because I like the notebook keyboard. I guess it’s just a matter of getting used to things! bye for now, Julieanne

Julieanne, many thanks for taking the time to comment on my blog. The keyboard, I use is like using a regular keyboard but it fits in my handbag. I think the trick is finding the the right piece of technology that suits your personal taste. I find my eyes can get tired if using an IPhone that is why I find this an easier way to type on line. The yellow screen with the app I find kinder on my eyes. But I would say mobile devices are getting easier to use all the time while working on the go. All the best and take care Rosemary
