Business Users – WHY You Should Convert your iPhone into a Digital Recording Device While Working On The Go.

iPhone, iPad Business Users – WHY You Should Convert your Apple Device into a Digital Recording Device with PureAudio Live App
First off ladies and gentlemen, whilst others may disagree…. I have always been an unapologetic fan of voice recognition software after my love affair began out of financial necessity many years ago in the last economic downturn when I had a choice of ….either doing a typing course ….or giving this software a go because I could not afford a secretary. The software won and yes back then significant practice and training was required ( which is why it has its detractors, but remember times change and technology continuously improves Folks – consistently) to make it work well but I have never looked back and have saved a small fortune since in secretarial wages (Check out our Dragon post by Clicking here)
Many moons later after getting a present of an iPad I began to embark upon learning how to turn it into a work and business productivity tool. When the Dragon app for the iPad came out I was excited and then dismayed to find that it was not available from my iTunes store which I presume is the position in many other countries on planet Earth (UK and USA excepted)
However all is not lost folks.
I came across the PureAudio Live App which is a full function digital voice and audio recording app. In laymans terms Folks it allows your iPad or iPhone or iPod Touch to become a digital voice recorder when you are out and about working on the move !!!
For the few bob that this App costs – you are if you are a Dragon fan (a) saving big time because you may avoid the cost of purchasing a separate digital voice recorder ( my last Olympus specialist recorder –while great …cost me € 250…!! )
(b) By converting your iPhone or iPad into a digital voice recorder..,You have ONE LESS Gadget to lugg around , worry about or mind !!
With the PureAudio Live App You can record your voice files on your iPhone, iPad …out and about on the move wherever you are…plane, train or automobile, bus or rail station or Mount Everest…. and use those recordings when you get back to home base or the office or indeed hotel room or the car – by simply connecting with your desktop PC or Laptop or Mac…….to transcribe ( convert) those voice recordings into editable text using of course Dragon Naturally speaking software …
The PureAudio Live recorder is enhanced with digital noise reduction microphone technology – (BIG BIG bonus and a must for using Dragon Software because its a big factor in improving recognition accuracy). The App digitally reduces background noise, while enhancing the recorded sound quality and intelligibility when making recordings in real-world noisy mobile environments.
We wholeheartedly and genuinely recommend this app- is it is another mega useful tool in helping You being productive when on the move. I use it all the time!!.. (Mostly on my iPhone now because I rarely forget the phone out and about, and simply dictate all my stuff into it).
By the Way ….If you Don’t have Dragon and your work or business involves a lot of text work? –SERIOUSLY GET IT FOLKS– Consider Buying Dragon Premium Edition now to work with the PureAudio Live App. Check out our posts on Dragon …By Clicking Here...

What This App can Do !! Just some of the main features
* Create Voice Recordings , of Letters, Notes, Brainwaves, Memos….later to be transcribed ( turned into text in other words) on your PC by using Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred Edition.
* Capture quick impulse recordings when working or thinking on the move- knowing you can have them typed later
* Simple to use interface.
* Digital noise reduction software to remove repetitive background noise from recordings.
* Great Recording & Playback Functions:
* Unlimited recording time with device-memory read out.
* Organize, store and retrieve recordings using editable category folders.
* * Rename recordings.
* Transfer Recordings to your Pc for use With Dragon Premium Edition:
* Transfer recordings to your computer using iTunes File Sharing.
* Transfer recordings to your computer using Wi-Fi Sync.
* Email your recordings – not just as a link.
What’s Great About Version 2.5
The App now allows larger recordings to be emailed. You can now email recordings up to 16MB in size- as much as any of us should need??.
TIP – Remember folks that Voice Files HOGG a lot of space on your iPhone or iPad – be productive – transfer your recordings to your PC – save them there and/or transcribe them with Dragon – and then delete the recordings on your iPhone or iPad to recover space

Hi Rosemary,
I’m on the go all the time so I look into anything that can save time doing what I do. This app looks like you can record benefits and features for creating sales letters and articles just by using your iphone. When I’m checking out information in text it’s hard to capture the main parts of the content that I want to include in a new post or article so I think this is something to take a further look into. Could be a real benefit for people that know how to use it. I think you can get pretty creative with it and learn many different ways to use it that can be worth the investment. Saving time in business is so important. Thanks for the information.

Hi Rosemary,
If you ever want to switch businesses, writing would be a good one for you! I have barely come into the 21st century, and my cell phone doesn’t even have internet access. I’m probably a bit behind
But at least I know that such things as these apps are “out there.” Thanks for the information!

Hello Rosie,
This is a super post. I’m also familiar with Dragon software for my pc as you mentioned it really is a time save for people who use lots of text in their work. Once Dragon is used to you voice it saves lots of time. I’m still using a Blackberry and a netbook when I travel… for someone who loves change I’m a bit set in my ways with those….. iDon’t own any iTems myself but heaps of my friends do so I’ll be passing this tip on to them. Great share.
I hope you had a fabulous weekend at Jo Barnes’ event in London. I just saw that Zed Shah was speaking too;- he is a nice chap and funny too. I met him at Paul and Milli’s 1st social media event at Heathrow March 2010
rosie54 on October 31, 2011
Hi Sadie,
I really find Dragon makes such a difference for me to keep productive when I am away like last week. When I was in the UK I bought some books about smart phones etc and I noticed there was only one about the Blackberry. At the moment there is a ebook being prepared to help our readers while working on the go.
I really enjoyed Jo Barnes event last week and I really liked Ali Khan and and Zed Shah advice. I giggled when Ali said do as marketing people say rather than what they do. He gave the example of getting an email telling him email marketing was dead.
Take care Rosemary

The iPhone, or any of the smartphones for that matter, have provided us with so many options that just weren’t available to us before. I use my Android for note taking, task tracking, video creation on the go, photo’s, and emails. I also use it to manage my Facebook and LinkedIn accounts. Oh yeah its a phone too
So using these phones to take dictation is an obvious step. Thank you very much for the information, I might need to get me an iPhone if they ever come out with the iPhone5
