Unleash the Power of Your Voice for Jobs TO DO

A VERY Easy Way To Use Your iPad/ iPhone for Reminders and To Do Jobs…. Working on the Go !!!

Unleash the Power of Your Voice for Jobs TO DO

Save Time & Create Useful Reminders  with VoCal Voice for your  To Do Lists  on Your iPhone or iPad….Easily !!

The power of using our voices with our smartphones  is becoming a  big buzzword out there.

I recall when I first purchased my 3G iPhone, being rather fascinated with the voice memo feature, which I quickly began to use regularly on the move simply to record little reminders for myself about jobs to do or customers to contact. I listened to them twice a day to ensure I did my work, because we can all be forgetful under pressure. I know that some of our short term memory retention aint what it once  was.

I remember back then being very surprised to read an article indicating that voice memos along with the stocks app were two of the least used features on the iPhone. Indeed one of the reasons I began to use voice memos in the first place was to allow me to avoid typing at all on the iPhones keyboard …..typing especially on an iPhone can be cumbersome when on the move (which has always been a bugbear of mine personally).

It was with some glee that I recently came across another very useful app indeed called VoCal Voice Reminders which makes my long-standing habit even more practical and useful on the move BECAUSE  ……………….

THIS APP ALLOWS YOU TO CREATE

YOUR OWN PERSONAL REMINDER S OR JOBS TO DO….REQUIRING  NO TEXT INPUT! (USING JUST YOUR VOICE ) …..AND BETTER STILL ALERTS YOU TO LISTEN TO THAT MESSAGE ON THE TIME AND DATE OF YOUR CHOICE.

The Manufacturers video below does’nt do it justice………

Vocal Voice Reminders…….IS Fast Simple and Easy to use

1. Quickly record a reminder using your voice ✔
2. Set time and date for the reminder to alert you ✔
3. Tap save and close the app ✔

Have your messages alert you even when the app is switched off!

I have the icon in a dominant position on my iPhone. ….At the bottom of the screen(always easily available).

Give it a go folks…or even consider using that voice memo app built into your iPhone ( for free)

Rosemary

NOTE the Vocal app requires minimum of Apple iOS 4.2.1 to function.

The voice app is such a powerful tool. I am quite alright with being in the minority of people who do NOT use this. Quite frankly, I don’t what I would do without it.

I spend quite a bit of time out and about with clients and the number of times I have passed by a truck or a billboard or some other piece of advertising and realized that here was a potential client pretty much advertising for me to contact them is just amazing.

I take a quick note with my phone, get home and listen through my notes on their contact info, what kind of advertising piece it was, my impression of their marketing and I have it all right there to work with. it is an incredibly simple way for me to do some initial prospecting. Thanks for writing up about it. Nicely done.

  • Hello Rosemary! Thanks for this great tip. Tapping on the iPhone keyboard is a nuisance when driving, not to mention dangerous. So I love the idea of capturing your thoughts on the go with your voice.

Will have to install this app and give it a go.
Besides, it’s so cool to hear your own voice…. in the form of a task-master. 🙂

    Cheers!
ps:- I’ve always wanted to visit Ireland and would love to do that someday.

Sage, like your self I really find being able to use my voice makes me get a lot more work done especially when you are on the move. It would be great if you find the time to come to Ireland. There is much better value to travel in Ireland since the change of the economic circumstances. I often go to London on business and find it is a lot cheaper there as well in the last two years. Thank you very much for visiting my blog. take care Rosemary

  • Rosemary,

Now this is facinating and useful. I have several differnt phones that I use.

Before we have all these other devices. My hip hugger was the electronic recorder that has 72hrs of time. This is now on our phones?

You have given me countless of hours to do what I love and to share information that can help people keep organized. To many “To Do List”.

One on my calendar and other locations. I will love to put this to practice today. I never thought of using it for total organization. Still remembering to back it up somewhere.

That is the only down thing about having all what to do list in only one place. The battery life is not good here. We can’t read it if charging. It will be something as time goes by what other things will come to have a 7 day battery life.

Rosmary, your one of our great tech update supporters. I believe you have made it easier for unlimited people to understand the ways to get more leverage out of you devices. Now, I can refer others to one location with all the correct usage to maximize leverage.

Thanks for sharing real content with your readers and myself. Looking forward in your next post!

    Hi Rosemary,
I had no idea that the feature was on the 3S iPhone. I always thought you had to have the 4. Aha, I just found it. Amazing. I’ve had the phone for about a year and a half. It is pitiful to be so tech illiterate. So glad you shared.
